Amongst all the hotels in Taormina, the Hotel Sirius enjoys a particularly privileged position. It is situated on the north-eastern slope of the town, above the bays of Mazzarò, Spisone and Isola Bella, and looking along the long beach of Letoianni as far as Castello di Capo Sant’Alessio and the Calabrian coast. The building has been very carefully designed to merge unobtrusively into the natural surroundings.
The hotel is on several floors, from the parking area on the roof to the swimming-pool at the lowest level. Nearly all the rooms, including the bedrooms, restaurant, bar and terraces enjoy spectacular views over the sea. The reception area is at the top, under the car-park, and consists of a large, elegantly furnished room leading onto a sunny terrace. At the next level is the restaurant, stylishly decorated with great attention to detail and with windows which overlook the sea. Below this are the various floors which accommodate the bedrooms, with terrace or balcony facing the blue of the bay. At the fourth level down is located the hotel bar, with a large, comfortable salon and a spacious terrace to enjoy your drinks. Lastly, at the bottom, is the lovely swimming-pool with evocative views over the sea. A service of snacks or light lunches is provided, so that guests can enjoy the hotel specialities while relaxing next to the pool.
All the rooms are furnished in the period style with original paintings, decorations and ornaments. Owing to its exceptional position, the hotel is sunlit from early morning onwards. Walking enthusiasts can get down to the sea on foot by following a footpath with flights of steps which comes out opposite Isola Bella.

A few minutes’ drive from the hotel, you can access the A18- ME/CT Motorway, or the nearby main road, allowing you to visit all the most beautiful parts of eastern Sicily.
In just an hour, you can reach Siracusa or Catania, and drive along the Cyclops Riviera with the villages of Acitrezza and Acicastello, You can also explore Mount Etna, both on the southern side and up the northern slopes to Piano Provenzana. The fine white sandy beach of Giardini Naxos and the whole Alcantara Valley are just a few minutes away by car.
